What have I achieved this week?
This week has been hectic. After being run down from the flu last week and still having to compete at a local CrossFit partner WOD throwdown, my body has just about recovered. Despite this, I sniffled and coughed my way through the week, hitting PBs and completing a Regional event! Some things I can take from this week include beginning meditation, learning how to control my temper and finding the motivation when my brain and tummy is saying no! Training: This week I completed a WOD at my current snatch 1RM which proves two things. 1) 25kg is probably not my 1RM and 2) my snatches are better than I thought. I think what I struggle with the most with snatches is that because I am just about 5 ft 1, my brain is constantly telling me that I am not strong enough to lift that barbell from the floor and up over my head in one swift movement.
